Valerie Patient Care CoordinatorValerie 
Patient Care Coordinator

Val began working for Kevin G. Murphy & Associates in January 2017.  She enjoys interacting with patients and developing strong relationships with them.  For her, the most important aspect  of what she does at our office is to ensure you are comfortable and her favorite part of the day is when a patient leaves smiling. 

Val is a HUGE Monkees fan and an old soul when it comes to her musical interests. Depending on the season, you can find her either pitching horseshoes at her Horseshoe League or cheering wildly at a Washington Capitals game. Val also enjoys spur of the moment trips with her boyfriend, spending time with family and friends, and Joe Corbi’s Cheezee bread.

Sue graduated from UMAB in 1982, with a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. After working for two other practices, she joined Kevin G. Murphy & Associates in 1992. In March 2019, Sue retired from hygiene and currently works one day a week, helping out at the front desk.

In her free time, Sue likes to walk, garden, and travel to Texas as much as possible to visit her daughter and new grandson. She is very active in Special Olympics where her son is an active participant.

Jessica began her career in dentistry in 1998, where she quickly developed a love and appreciation of multi-specialty practices and the dynamics of quality patient care. Jessica’s strong passion for helping others has led her to advance her education and experience, where she believes it essential to merge patient care and strong team building and incorporate these skills in office administration. Jessica found her home at Kevin G. Murphy & Associates in early 2015 and finds that the practice culture and individual patient relationships are the driving force to the practice’s success in treatment and care.

Jessica is an active member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) and is Treasurer on the board of their local Baltimore/Annapolis, MD Chapter. Through AADOM, Jessica enjoys increasing her knowledge and skills and finds that connecting with other Practice Managers in the community to be a game changer both professionally and personally.  Outside of work, Jessica enjoys being with her family, staying super active, and traveling whenever possible.


Lisa Dental AssistantLisa
Dental Assistant

Lisa was born and raised in Baltimore and has over 23 years of experience as a dental assistant.  Lisa says, “I am proud to be affiliated with Maryland’s top dental practice, Kevin G. Murphy & Associates.  The entire team strives for perfection and attention to every detail to make our patients’ experience second to none.”

In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Her interests include reading, listening to live music, knitting, and fishing.

Lily has more than 25 years of experience as a Dental Assistant and has been a part of the Kevin G. Murphy & Associates family since early 2008. She graduated from the University of Cusco, Peru with a Bachelor’s of Science in Administration and Tourism. Lily shares, “I am so glad to work for Dr. Kevin Murphy because he is an extraordinary person. He is so kind with staff and patients and excellent in what he does in dentistry.”

Originally from Peru, Lily lives locally with her husband and two sons. Her hobbies include knitting and playing volleyball.


Angie Dental AssistantAngie 
Dental Assistant

Originally from Lima, Peru, Angie grew up in Northern Virginia where she graduated from Herndon High School.  She then went to Methodist University in North Carolina.  Angie has been a dental assitant for the past 12 years and has specialized in surgical assisting for the past 7.  Angie began working at Kevin G. Murphy & Associates in July 2018 and is enjoying adjusting to life in Baltimore.  Her favorite part of dentistry is seeing the positive life changing results in patients.

When not in the office, Angie enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, volunteering, and traveling.  She can often be found playing competitive volleyball both indoors and outdoors along the East Coast.



Shari Dental Hygienist

A Baltimore native, Shari graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and from Baltimore City Community College with an AAS in Dental Hygiene. She began working for Kevin G. Murphy & Associates in February 2013. Shari feels very fortunate to work in such a caring and professional environment. She enjoys building relationships with patients so they can feel more at ease and able to focus on improving their oral health. Shari is also a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 3 children, working out, and baking.

Kathleen Dental Hygienist

Registered Dental Hygienist

After graduating from Temple University and Columbia University, she moved from her home town of Reading, PA to Baltimore, MD for a teaching position at the University of Maryland Dental Hygiene program. After a short time of teaching, she entered a private dental practice and has been working with patients in Periodontal and Prosthetic dental offices ever since.

The complicated nature of the patients’ needs has given her the opportunity to help patients attain optimum dental health. The changes she has seen in dentistry over her career have been nothing short of amazing and give the dental team many options to provide comfortable and esthetic long term dental function.

She is honored to work with Drs. Jordan, Damghani, and Murphy as well as her gifted co-workers as they care for the patients. To Kathy, it’s uplifting to see the dedication patient’s exhibit as they move through their very complex dental treatments, it’s inspiring.  In her spare time Kathy enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Especially her wife of many years and young granddaughter.
